THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVES

Thanksgiving turkeyThanksgiving Food Drives help ensure that all Burlington Families can celebrate the Canadian tradition of Thanksgiving. Many of us can be thankful to afford a delicious meal to share with our families, complete with turkey, fresh fruit, pies, and more. These items are a tradition for many Canadians, but with other living expenses and many mouthes to feed, some local families have a hard time fitting this in their budget.

Support Burlington families by providing food to our less fortunate community members and ensure everyone in town gets to take part in Thanksgiving celebrations.

Burlington Food Share is a coalition of agencies helping the needy including: Partnership West Food Bank, St. Christopher’s ‘Open Doors’ Food Bank, Compass Point ‘Food Market’ and Compassion Society’ Food Cupboard. Their Thanksgiving Food Drive runs from October 8th – 15th, 2014.
