Registration time for 2017 summer camps in Burlington has arrived!  Now is an ideal time for parents to start researching and planning summer camps for their children. Registration for most camps opens before the snow melts and we recommend reserving your spots for July and August as soon as possible to ensure you have the summer weeks covered as you wish. Burlington Kids has updated summer camp information for 2017 right here for you.

Fortunately there are many options in Burlington with a focus on the outdoors, arts, sports, and academics to make your child’s summer fun and memorable! In addition, many camps can accommodate parents’ schedules by offering early drop-off and/or late pick-up.

Wondering what a typical day at Aerosport’s Kid’s Camps are like?

They’re stacked full of Trampoline activities, Foam Pits, Dodgeball, and Supervised Games & Activities — what better way to keep kids active and busy while school is out! For lunch, kids can eat by the Snack Shack while watching a movie or play some games. After lunch participants go back into the park for fun trampoline & planned activities. Near the end of the day we have clean-up and open jump time for the kids.  We also have two snack times throughout the day so make sure you send plenty to eat and drink (no peanuts please)!

BSSC has been “Developing Champions for Life” for nearly 50 Years! Their volunteer run non-profit club offers numerous full year or sessional recreational programs, themed Summer Camps as well as a full season competitive environment. BSSC’s overall goal is to inspire athletes of all ages and abilities to achieve their full potential as synchronized swimmers and whole individuals in life. Their Mermaid Camp (from August 21st – 25th) will include swimming with mermaid tails, synchronized swimming basics, stroke correction, mermaid themed crafts and fun activities. From August 28th to September 1st, their Aqua Fun Camp will include swimming basics, learning a synchro routine, stroke correction, crafts, dance and fun activities! During the summer, each Tuesday to Friday from 1pm-4pm, kids from the age of 4 to 8 can enjoy an afternoon of gym activities and games with Balls of Fun. Through a variety of play and different types of balls, children develop their gross motor skills, confidence and coordination that will assist in sports!

Canlan Ice – July and August

Breakaway from boredom and unleash your child’s inner athlete by adding some excitement to their vacation with a Canlan Hockey Camp or Canlan Sports Camps. Their Hockey camps offer an action-packed week of hockey conditioning, skill development and off-ice games for children of all ages and skill levels. Canlan’s qualified and friendly instructors improve your child’s hockey skills by focusing on progression and proper technique. Participants will learn new skills and drills in an environment that fosters sportsmanship, teamwork and most of all fun.
